Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Billing API - Used for billing clients. Our standard and starter plans requires that the merchant commits to charges per month and usage charges.
Webhooks - Allows us to receive data on events triggered in your shop.
Rest Admin Api - allows us to connect to Shopify
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:
Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your shop name and email address.
You provide some of this data directly, such as when you create an account, administer your organization's licensing account, or contact us for support. We get some of it by recording how you interact with our products by, for example, using technologies like cookies, and receiving error reports or usage data from software running on your device. Cookies allow us, among other things, to store your preferences and settings; enable you to sign-in; combat fraud; and analyse how our websites and online services are performing. Raw low-level request logs and Task History are stored for 7 days. These logs are available to our employees as needed for service support.
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information relating to the Service.
We do not share your data with any third parties. You have full control over how you share your data to other parties through the Service. We do not share your data with anyone. However, we may have to share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Your Rights If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
The Stargate365 Automation Service is fully GDPR compliant.
We take many steps to ensure your private information and account credentials are safe. If you find a security problem, please contact us so we can fix it.
We use encrypted connections (SSL) to transfer data where possible via https://stargate365.com and external API services.
Account access credentials (Login names, Passwords, API keys and Tokens) are encrypted with 256 bit RC4 and are stored in a password protected database behind a firewall. We do not have access to your passwords and you would have to create a new password if you forget it.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records for the time you have an account with us. You can delete all your date we keep from within the App.
